Capula Healthcare becomes BSI ISO/IEC 27001 certified Joins an elite group of UK healthcare software suppliers who have reached the “gold standard” for information security Capula Healthcare Limited (CHL) has been awarded a BSI ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security certificate, becoming one of only a handful of healthcare software suppliers in the UK to be certified, and joining just 4140 accredited companies worldwide. This achievement means that CHL’s clients can be more confident than ever that their information will remain secure. The certificate, awarded after seven gruelling months of preparation, is assessed and certified by BSI, an external certification authority, and is regarded as the “gold standard” for information security. “We are delighted to be able to build on our reputation for designing and supplying quality software products and services to the healthcare sector,” said David Gumm, Business Continuity Manager., CHL, “CHL provides world class Patient Administration Systems (PAS) in the healthcare sector so we knew we had to be totally secure.
