Complete Mental Health EPR

The Oasis Mental Health EPR provides a complete clinical and administrative application across all aspects of Mental Health Delivery. Oasis’ Mental Health Act functionality allows staff to manage detentions more efficiently by enabling them to track which patients are under section, admittance and expiry dates. This ensures patients are held legally and that any applications for extension are made in good time.

Oasis’ Booking Diaries are flexible and allow Mental Health organisations to use them for home or community-based visits as well as for outpatient appointments. Slots can be booked in terms of staff time, rather than as patient appointments.

Care Programme Approach

Oasis CPA function aligns with the national Care Programme Approach (CPA) and ensures that patients are allocated the appropriate care pathway to make the most efficient use of staff time and to streamline patient treatment. It includes datasets to score aspects of patient behaviour and record patient progress over time.

Care Clusters

The HoNOS clinical outcome measure is used to identify into which of 21 core clusters a patient should be referred. This means that patients are directed to the most appropriate service straight away, saving patient and clinician time and improving the patient experience.

Patient progress can be assessed and plotted on charts to evaluate improvement and recovery. If little or no change is detected, patients can be signposted on to a more relevant team. The process allows teams to select access criteria and determine where team members are best suited to support the core clusters, meaning that staff time is utilised to its best effect. This also provides a more standardised and efficient route to ensuring that the patient receives the right level of care.
